Ongoing Education & Training
Hope Builders helps youth understand career ladders within their given industry, advance their education level and prepare for and gain access to post-secondary education programs, ranging from apprenticeships and vocational training to AA degrees. During training all youth receive a minimum of 12 hours of career and education pathway instruction that focuses on developing study skills, understanding the relationship between career ladders and post-secondary pathways, and accessing financial aid and scholarships. At the completion of training, Hope Builders continues to help youth achieve advanced certifications and enroll in and persist through apprenticeship and post-secondary degree programs. Through some innovative partnerships with Santa Ana College, Phlebotomy Specialists of California and Tierra Institute International, Hope Builders is able to offer college credits and credentialing in Office Management, Phlebotomy and Solar Installation.
