10 Days for Launching Careers Raises $670k for Hope Builders’ Training Programs

Hope Builders’ annual fall fundraiser, 10 Days for Launching Careers, ran from August 26^th through Labor Day. The primary focus of the campaign this year was to recognize the perseverance and transformation of trainees as they triumphantly “Turn Roadblocks into Pathways”.

Sponsors and VIP guests gathered on August 24^th to kick off the campaign at the Port Theater in Corona Del Mar. Attendees heard from employers, donors, and trainees about the innovative ways Hope Builders is addressing the workforce needs of Orange County.

During the 10-day virtual campaign, Hope Builders showcased a “Day in the Life” of a trainee through daily social media posts and emails to over 3,000 individuals. Video content gave our community a glimpse into the daily struggles that these young adults face, as well as how Hope Builders is changing their lives. 

These efforts generated over $670,000 in revenue for Hope Builders’ training programs. The support received during this campaign will help more than 300 Orange County young adults overcome their obstacles and move from poverty to prosperity.
