Donor Spotlight: Mrs. Jayne Dahlgren

Hope Builders extends its sincere appreciation to Mrs. Jayne Dahlgren for her dedication to empowering our trainees as a Premier supporter. For nearly 20 years, her generosity has equipped individuals with the skills, mentorship, and confidence needed for lasting success. By investing in young people and their potential, Jayne is helping build brighter futures and a stronger community. Reflecting on this impact, Jayne shares, “It’s heartwarming to me to learn of the success of these young people as they gain skills and confidence in themselves through the program.”

Amparo’s story reflects the impact of Jayne’s support. At age 22, Amparo dreamed of entering the medical field but felt stuck in a part-time fast-food job. When she learned about Hope Builders’ free clinical medical assisting training, she seized the opportunity. Along with hands-on skills training, Amparo received tutoring and support to earn her driver’s license, opening up job opportunities beyond her immediate neighborhood. After completing the program, she was hired as a medical assistant at South Coast Pediatrics, earning $21 per hour.

“My journey doesn’t stop here,” Amparo shares. “Hope Builders has given me the chance to step forward into a future I once thought was out of reach, and I am forever grateful.”
