From Career Opportunity to Community Impact

Hope Builders’ trainees are building careers that create impact beyond their own success. With your partnership, Hope Builders is preparing professionals who strengthen our community and spread ripples of hope throughout Orange County.

Recently, we asked our Clinical Medical Assisting trainees to complete this sentence:

“The impact I want to make is…”

Many spoke about their desire to provide exceptional care:

• “I want to make people feel seen and cared for, especially in a healthcare environment where it can be very upsetting and emotional.” — Noel W.
• “I want to ensure people receive quality care in a medical setting. I want people to feel safe and genuinely cared for.” — Miranda G.

Others shared their commitment to using their careers to strengthen their workplaces and communities:

• “I want to support the teams I am given the chance to work with, and make a positive difference in my community.” — Aileen G.
• “I want to have a productive life, support my family, and help my community.” — Angelique G.

Several trainees reflected on how their own journeys can inspire others to pursue their goals and recognize their potential:

• “I want to encourage other young women who are also doubting their potential.” — Carolina M.
• “I want to inspire others to pursue the medical field and show them that no matter the circumstances, everything is possible as long as you put in the work.” — Ailyn M.
