Advancement Ceremony Recognizes Milestones on the Student Journey

At the Summer Advancement Ceremony, Hope Builders recognized graduates for reaching milestones along the Student Journey, pictured below. These outcomes reflect trainees’ hard work, determination and growing readiness for the workforce.

The Training Certificate marks the completion of career focused technical training and the development of professional skills needed to take the next step toward employment in construction, medical assisting or child development.

  • 87 young adults earned Training Certificates.

The Career Builder Certificate recognizes graduates who have secured their first job and are putting their skills into practice as they begin building their careers.

  • 64 young adults were recognized as Career Builders.

The Hope Builder Certificate marks another significant milestone: sustaining employment in a career pathway for at least six months. Reaching this point reflects continued growth and the ability to build on the foundation established through Hope Builders.

  • 68 young adults achieved Hope Builder status.

Each of these milestones represents progress toward greater opportunity and a stronger future for families, workplaces and the entire community.

Attendees also heard from Andrea, a 2023 graduate who offered a firsthand example of what success after training can look like. Now working as a medical assistant at St. Jude, Andrea shared, “Hope Builders helped me prepare for my career by giving me the confidence to apply my skills in the real world.” With a career she can build on, Andrea is now able to be a positive example for her younger siblings, her employer has a steady and skilled employee, and our community has a dedicated healthcare professional providing compassionate care. That’s the Hope Builders Effect.

Hope Builders is proud to celebrate every young adult who reached a new step on their journey and is grateful to the families, partners and supporters who help make these achievements possible.
