That support is helping young adults like Anibal move beyond low-wage work and toward careers with greater opportunity.

Before coming to Hope Builders, Anibal was working in a job with no growth potential. As a young father, he realized he needed a career that could provide greater stability and opportunity for his daughter.

Through Hope Builders’ Construction Training Program, Anibal developed the skills and preparation to enter the construction field. He completed training ready to take his next step and was hired by Hilty’s Electric as a technician, where he now earns $21.50 an hour.

“Without this program, I would have remained stuck in a job that went nowhere. Today, I am excited and prepared to begin a career that truly inspires me,” Anibal shares.

Anibal’s journey shows how one opportunity can create possibilities that extend far beyond a first job. The career he is building today can provide greater stability for his daughter and open doors for future generations.
