For the past 5 years, Behr Paint Company has been an incredible champion of Hope Builders and its trainees. “We appreciate that Hope Builders provides training on both life skills and job skills, giving local youth a pathway to employment and self-sufficiency. The wonderful part is that they’re learning a trade related to our product. We are thrilled to play a small role in helping this generation succeed,” says President, Jeff Filley.   

Behr places a priority on offering opportunities for engagement with Hope Builders’ young adults as they prepare to launch their careers. Therefore, team members from across the organization invest their time and talents with construction program trainees by hosting tours of their state-of-the-art R&D facility and providing trainings at Hope Builders’ facility on various painting methods. Additionally, Behr team members volunteer as mock interviewers to help prepare trainees for their future employment screenings.
