Best of Friends Honoree – Woodbridge Glass/Werner Systems

Hope Builders will honor Woodbridge Glass/Werner Systems at this year’s annual Light Up A Life gala on September 15, 2018 with the Best of Friends Award to recognize their incredible support in equipping young people with the technical and life skills training needed to enter the workforce.

Since 2010, Woodbridge Glass/Werner Systems has partnered with Hope Builders to close the skills gap between disadvantaged young adults and employers who need skilled, reliable workers. Steve Siciliani, Principal of Woodbridge Glass/Werner Systems, is actively involved in Hope Builders’ work to improve and support the construction training program. “I am honored to continue to work with Hope Builders to provide youth with opportunities to find a quality job in the construction field” shares Steve. Under Steve’s leadership, Woodbridge Glass/Werner Systems serves as an employment partner for Hope Builders’ new initiative, Jobs Work, an innovative earn and learn program that partners with the trades to fast-track youth into quality jobs in construction.

Hope Builders is incredibly appreciative of the generous support of Steve and Woodbridge Glass/Werner Systems over the past eight years. Their partnership has enabled Hope Builders to make tremendous movement towards its long-term goal of expanding its capacity to serve 4,700 youth in the next 10 years.
