Building Stability and Opportunity in 2026
For Hope Builders trainees, New Year’s resolutions are not simply aspirations, but intentional commitments to building long-term stability and opportunity.
For Emily, completing the Clinical Medical Assisting Program at the end of 2025 marked a major milestone, but her vision reaches even further. “I would like to be financially independent without relying on anyone for support,” she shares. With industry-recognized training and hands-on experience, she is entering the healthcare field with the confidence and skills needed to pursue long-term stability and growth.
Johnathan, a recent graduate of Hope Builders’ Construction Training Program, is entering the new year with clarity and ambition. “My goal is finding a job in carpentry that will suit me and my skills,” he explains. “I also want a job where I can keep learning new things so I can use them in the future.” For him, success isn’t just about landing a job– it’s about finding meaningful work that allows him to grow, develop his craft, and build a lasting career.
Alexandra’s resolution is rooted in both determination and love for her children. As a single mom of two, she is balancing the demands of parenting while investing in her education through the Child Development Careers Program. “My goal is to pass training, get into a good job, and be able to get an apartment for my kids and me,” she says. Her journey and her commitment to creating a safe, stable environment for her family is a reminder of why access to career pathways matters.
As Emily, Johnathan, and Alexandra step into the new year, they do so with the tools, training, and support to turn their resolutions into reality.
