Ceres Foundation Drives Builds Prosperous Futures at Hope Builders

Hope Builders is grateful to the Ceres Foundation. Their grant support helps drive real impact and encourages continuous improvement of our training model. With their partnership, we are strengthening our framework to ensure trainee completion rates continue to rise and that more graduates secure and retain employment in career pathways that offer long-term economic mobility.

By focusing on both immediate results and long-term success, the Ceres Foundation helps graduates, like Darlene, thrive—not just immediately after the program, but for years to come. At age 27, Darlene was stuck in a seemingly never-ending cycle of temporary and seasonal work. She dreamed of financial stability, but on her own, couldn’t find a way to secure a long-term employment offer. When she enrolled at Hope Builders, she received training in all the skills needed to start a career as a medical assistant. She also benefitted from employment readiness classes that covered topics like interviewing, resume writing, and soft-skills for success. Soon after completing training, she accepted a position as a medical assistant and, for the first time, is building a stable future for herself and her family.
