Championing Careers: The Palmer Family Foundation

Palmer Family Foundation

Hope Builders is deeply grateful to The Palmer Family Foundation for their continued support. Since 2001, Greg and Sally Palmer have championed Hope Builders, inspired by the resilience of the young adults the organization serves. They continue to raise awareness and funds so hundreds of Orange County young adults can find direction and build stable careers each year.

Since 2018, Greg has contributed his staffing industry expertise to the ongoing development of our social enterprise staffing agency, Hope Builders Career Connections (HBCC). His strategic guidance strengthens HBCC’s ability to connect young adults with meaningful job opportunities, ensuring the program delivers lasting impact for both youth and employers while supporting Hope Builders’ long-term sustainability.

The generosity of the Palmer Family Foundation fuels transformations for young adults, like Andrea. Throughout her childhood, Andrea spent time in and out of the foster care system, with little support to navigate the transition to adulthood. At Hope Builders, she discovered a career path in child development that matched her passion for helping children. Through training, coaching, and encouragement, she was equipped with the tools for success in the field. When she finished training, HBCC matched her with an employer who recognized her potential and offered her $22/hour as a starting wage.

Of the support she received at Hope Builders, Andrea shares, “Hope Builders has made my future extremely bright… I’m hoping to have an impact on many kids the way your thoughtfulness has had an impact on my life.”

We join Andrea in thanking the Palmer Family Foundation for their incredible generosity.
