Hope Builders is honored to recognize Clark Construction for their generous partnership. Through both financial support and hands-on engagement, they create pathways to prosperity for young adults.

Each year, Clark Construction serves as a cohost of the annual Builder’s Luncheon, bringing together industry leaders who share a commitment to developing Orange County’s future workforce. This year, the event raised more than $220,000 to launch careers in construction.

Employees volunteer at mock interviews and speed networking events, sharing career advice and helping trainees build professional skills. They also host job walks, giving trainees a firsthand look at active construction sites and helping them better understand the career opportunities available within the industry. In addition, Clark Construction’s leadership serves on our Board of Directors, helping expand our ability to make lasting impact.

Abe Vogel, Vice President, shares, “Hope Builders represents the very best of what our industry stands for: creating opportunity where it’s needed most. Their commitment to meeting Orange County’s young adults exactly where they are—providing the mentorship, life skills, and job training necessary to achieve true self-sufficiency—is deeply personal to me and fundamental to Clark Construction’s values. By helping young adults realize their potential, Hope Builders isn’t just transforming individual lives; they are strengthening our entire construction community and the future of Orange County.”

Clark Construction’s investment helps make stories like Isaac’s possible. Isaac always knew he wanted to work in construction, but he struggled to get started because even entry-level positions required job experience. Through Hope Builders, he earned technical training and certifications to enter the workforce with confidence. After completing the program, Isaac was quickly hired as a full-time laborer with a general contractor, earning $22 an hour.

By investing in Hope Builders’ training, Clark Construction is helping young adults, like Isaac, gain the skills to start rewarding careers, while strengthening the workforce across Orange County.
