Donor Builds Pathways to Success
Hope Builders is grateful to a local family (which choose to be anonymous) for their recent grant, which helps connect disadvantaged youth to prosperity. Since 2018, their support helps young people who are disconnected from the workforce transform potential into practical skills, opening doors that once felt out of reach.
Rosalie’s journey offers a powerful example of what this anonymous donor makes possible. At age 21, Rosalie was employed part-time as a cashier earning $16 an hour. She knew that she wanted to start a career working with children, but lacked both direction and guidance. She enrolled in community college hoping to find a path forward, but didn’t receive adequate support and dropped out during her first semester due to financial strain.

Rosalie enrolled in Hope Builders’ Child Development Careers program and received training to work with children with autism spectrum disorders. Beyond hard skills, she gained confidence to launch a long-term career. She shares, “At Hope Builders, I found something that I was not only interested in, but good at. I look forward to my future now because of this program.” Today, Rosalie is employed as a Behavior Technician earning $22 an hour.
Thank you to our anonymous donor for helping young adults like Rosalie overcome roadblocks and build pathways to prosperity.
