Join Hope Builders in 2025 to Transform Lives
Hope Builders is dedicated to empowering young adults with the mentorship, job skills and life skills training needed to move from poverty to prosperity. If you’re looking to make a meaningful impact this year, there are several volunteer opportunities where you can share your time and expertise.
Virtual Mock Interviews: Help trainees prepare for real-world job interviews. By simulating interview scenarios, you can provide valuable feedback and build confidence in applicants seeking employment.
- Details: Mock Interviews are held each month over Zoom. Contact Krista Langford at klangford@tsjhopebuilders.org for upcoming dates or to learn more.
Connect Over Coffee: Visit Hope Builders’ training facilities and participate in speed networking with trainees. Through these quarterly interactions, trainees learn how to engage with new people and build confidence with their interpersonal abilities.
- Details: Connect Over Coffee is a quarterly event held either in Santa Ana or Anaheim. Contact Krista Langford at klangford@tsjhopebuilders.org to learn more or sign up.
Tutor: Hope Builders offers weekly tutoring to address skills deficiencies in areas needed for employment, including math and reading/writing. By sharing your knowledge in these areas, you help build foundational skills that improve graduates’ success in the workforce.
- Details: Tutors are needed on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:30pm at Hope Builders’ training facilities in Anaheim. Contact Lauren Eddy at leddy@tsjhopebuilders.org to learn more or sign up.
Volunteer Training Assistant: Hope Builders is seeking a weekly volunteer with medical experience to assist in a Clinical Medical Assisting classroom. - Details: This opportunity is available on Fridays, from 9am-3pm, at our Anaheim training facility. Contact Lauren Eddy at leddy@tsjhopebuilders.org to learn more or sign up.
