As you know, Hope Builders is committed to meeting the needs of local employers while bridging the gap for disconnected youth in Orange County. We’re so proud that over 95% of our graduates are placed in jobs, and of those, over 80% will retain employment for 6 months or longer.

To attract more young adults to careers, this week marks the launch of our Child Development Program, which prepares participants for the following employment opportunities:

  • Early Childhood Assistant Teacher/Aide
  • Child Development Assistant
  • Child and Youth Program Assistant
  • Para-educator
  • Instructional Aide – Behavior/Special Education

As with Hope Builders’ Construction and Medical Assisting programs, the Child Development program prepares young adults for careers that offer professional advancement opportunities, starting hourly wages ranging from $18-$22 and benefits. In partnership with the City of Anaheim, this new program also includes a 3-month paid internship, offering trainees valuable hands-on skills training.

We look forward to updating you on the success of the young people who enroll in this program. Thank you for helping to make this all possible!
