Registered Behavioral Technician – Introducing Our New Training Program

We are thrilled to announce that last month Hope Builders successfully expanded its healthcare academy to include Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) training, which is offered in partnership with Santiago Canyon College. RBTs assist behavior analysts in executing treatment plans for children with autism. Our first RBT cohort is full of motivated individuals who have a desire to make a change in their community.

Micaela, pictured left, has a nephew with autism and says that seeing him smile, laugh, and get along with others motivates her to pursue a career helping other children. “I am excited to learn more skills that I can use in my personal life and in my clients’ lives,” said Micaela. “I will do my best to succeed and get a career.”

Diana, pictured right, heard about Hope Builders from her boyfriend who is currently enrolled in our construction training program. In high school, she took an internship class which helped her realize she wanted to work with children. “I see the place my boyfriend is in and I cannot wait to be there,” said Diana. “I am thankful for this amazing opportunity and for all the great resources and help Hope Builders has given me so far.”

Your support provides young adults, like Micaela and Diana, with the mentorship, job skills and life skills training needed to launch their careers.
