Trainees Share the Impact of Your Career Registry Gifts

Career Registry Impact

Hope Builders recently asked our community to support incoming training cohorts by purchasing items from our career registry. The Career Registry functions like a gift registry, enabling members of the community to purchase tangible items, like uniforms and classroom materials, that are crucial for trainees’ success.

We asked trainees how the support they received has allowed them to overcome the obstacles they previously faced to entering the workforce. Here are some of their responses:

Hope Builders has been a great help to me, I was provided with a monthly bus pass and received the coaching and support I needed to pass both my permit and driver’s tests.” – Gustavo L., Construction Training Program

Because of the weekly stipend, childcare vouchers and budgeting support I received, I was able to focus on my studies and complete the program without worrying about money.” – Alondra P., Clinical Medical Assisting Training Program

Before Hope Builders I had to stop working because of unreliable childcare. Hope Builders provided childcare vouchers and helped me gain the skills  to find a position that would pay more than minimum wage.” – Leslie C., Child Development Careers Training Program

Thank you to the donors who generously purchased items from the Career Registry in 2024. Your generosity is transforming lives.
