Since 2003, McCarthy has remained a dedicated supporter of Hope Builders’ construction training program to empower Orange County’s future construction workforce. In addition to providing generous financial, training and advisory support; Mike Myers, Regional President of McCarthy Building Companies also serves as an advocate for the workforce training program seeking to expand its employer and donor network as a co-host of its annual Builder’s Luncheon. 

Every year McCarthy Building Companies, along with Clark Construction Group and DPR Construction, hosts the Builder’s Luncheon to raise awareness of and funds for Hope Builders’ construction training program. Under Myer’s leadership the 2022 Builder’s Luncheon raised over $155,000! “We are proud to launch the young men and women of Hope Builders into life changing construction careers. I remember how humbling my first day in the field was and the lessons since learned. I’ve been fortunate to have found mentors, like Hope Builders, who invested in me and helped me succeed,” Mike shares.
